Hey y'all, I went to POC for the first time yesterday and came back with some stuff I need help ID'ing. 1. Shark teeth - Cretodus crassidens? 2. Large shark tooth - Cretoxyrhina? 3. shark tooth - Scapanorhynchus? 4. Enamel/tooth frag - mosasaur? 5. shark tooth - Cretolamna appendiculata? All scale bars = 1 cm. The enamel (4) is < .5 cm in length. 4 is definitely not shark - too thick - and reminds me of crocodiles, but I haven't heard of any crocs there. I also found another mosasaur tooth frag. I know this can be really difficult, so I really appreciate your help!

Rainy day today, so here are a few of my micro finds. Mostly they are from Post Oak Creek, a few from the North Sulphur River, and a few from a location somewhere between the bottom of the Eagle Ford and top of the Woodbine. All are late Cretaceous and all are microscope pics, either 10x or 60x. Sorry some do not have any objects for scale. A piece of coprolite from the North Sulphur River with some fish verts, possible Ptychodus tooth, and mystery shiny stuff:

Today I went to post Oak creek in Texas for about 3 hours with a friend. We found 211 shark teeth, 1 ptychodus tooth, some bone, 4 small vertebrae, and a few Gastropoda and oysters. We had a great time and I found a 1 1/4 inch tooth. Not sure what species. I also found my first good ptychodus.
