I acquired the tooth below from the estate of a Dallas, TX, collector. It was mostly likely found in North Texas, but the exact location isn't known. It's not in the best shape obviously, but I'm wondering if there's enough here to ID it as Protolamna sp. (or even down to the species level) or something else. I have a Leptostyrax macrorhiza tooth from the same collection with very similar preservation, so this is potentially a similarly aged species (Cenomanian?). Thanks! This tooth measures 16 mm on the slant.

Hi everyone! I went to Post Oak Creek, Texas a few weeks ago and got a decent haul. Including three teeth that I think are from some rare species that I wanted to confirm my id on. I think the first two are Cretoxyrhina mantelii and the third is Protolamna. I'm particularly unsure with the second one since it seems to have a slight nutrient groove. The first one also has damage where there would have been cusps so I'm not sure if it's a different Cretoxyrhina species or a different genus entirely. I'm fairly certain the creek is Atco formation. I know it's either Turonian or Coniacian

I have a few more micro shark teeth from the Mesaverde formation that I need ID help with. Up first is one of the coolest teeth I found in the micro mix. Roughly 2mm with some very cool looking cusplets. I originally thought it might be a Scyliorhinus tooth but I studied some teeth from other and I think I was wrong about cat shark. I thought maybe a tiny Protolamna but that is just a guess. I am actually pretty stumped. Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated.
