It’s been a while, but now I’ve got something worth posting about that I’d like identified. :) Took a trip to Lake Texoma yesterday and my husband found this. My guess is some kind of bivalve, but I’m hoping that someone here has a little more knowledge.

Hi all! This is a fossil I found some years ago in France. I unfortunately do not remember the exact location, but it could have been somewhere in the Cevennes region. I found smaller ammonites and some belemnite fragments at the same locations. I think this fossil might also be an ammonite, but the overall shape is not what I would expect it to be. It is not round, but oval. What do you think? The fossil is 9 cm long, 5 cm high and 3.5 cm wide. Thanks!

I'm new and trying to ID this. If I should have been able to find others on this site and not ask, please suggest approach to finding. Found in a shell bed.

Hi, bought this Megalodon tooth recently from the Hawthorn Formation in South Carolina. I noticed it had this ridges on the side, wondered if anyone knew what they were from. Thanks.

Hi I. New here. I’ve been collecting for about 5 months in central Texas. I found something that I’ve not come across before. It looks like something from a palm like plant but it could be an animal... it’s 3.4inches long . Thank You.

I found these fragments on the beach in South Carolina (USA) and I can’t seem to find any information about them online. They're approximately 2-2.5 cm thick and feel a bit like metal. Image searches of petrified wood, turtle shell and coral haven’t produced anything similar. Any ideas?
