Hiya everyone I bought a lot a while back, going through it I found a rooted tooth that wasn’t mentioned, my best guess is due to the shape it’s a whale tooth, also there was a shark tooth unlike any other in my collection, any help with ids would be great thanks.

My international measurement of choice... a raspberry. Not only is it a good scale, but folks, these raspberries were as killer a find as some fossils considering their price. When is the last time you paid 2.99 for 12oz of raspberries?! I digress. 🙂 Both pieces were found in Custer County, Montana in a Hell Creek microsite.

If you think it is correct, what are the distinctive features to recognize species and that it is a pterygoid tooth? Thank you so much!

I found this spinosaurus tooth online. It seems to have a mostly complete root. However, it does look like it has been repaired, and there might be some restoration, but I can't tell. Thanks for any help. The tooth also appears to have some striations along the carina.

I have a rooted Carcharodontosaurus indet tooth and trying to determine which part is lingual and labial. I know I can determine lingual side and labial side by using the curvature of mesial and distal, but this tooth is kinda confusing... How do you think about the rooted Carcharodontosaurus tooth? My personal opinion is, the crown seems repaired a lot, but the connection between the crown, I can see the groove for a new tooth. How's your opinion? Thank you

My dad collection of Indian artifacts Crystal's and all kinds of other things was passed to me when he passed. And there was this tooth I been tryin to find out what animal it belongs to and I was lead to this site. I know it's a molar and by what Google says it's a mammals. Can someone help me find what mammal it is?

Hello friends, I recently found this tooth that has some gator looking characteristics, but the size absolutely dwarfs every other gator tooth in my collection. My mind was absolutely blown when I found this thing. It was found in Bradenton, Fl. It’s about 2.5” long and 1” wide and the widest point. It’s in poor condition but from the enamel and hole inside Im thinking its def. a tooth. It’s hollow from about the halfway point up. What is this monster tooth!? I think the site is part of hawthorn group Arcadia formation Oligocene/Miocene but do not quote me on that part, still trying to confirm my sites as it can be tricky to get an exact pinpoint when cross referencing google maps with Florida geological maps. I have another tooth in question I will post separately. Thanks so much for looking

Here is my drawing of a Carcharodontosaurus tooth (3 different perspective) as it would have been if found fresh out of the mouth of that beast! The root is actually missing on my fossil, so it's very possible that the root would be different. I'm thinking to do the same thing for a bigger one, to do that I will need good picture of a big one, but I don't own such a tooth. Any opinion would be appreciated, additionnal observation would help to draw a better picture of these tooth and eventually it will help me draw the jaw when I will be confident enough Took about 25 minutes in total. I intend to do a more precise drawing eventually
