  1. I've found this mollusc fossils in the Saudi Arabia desert, one hour away from Riyadh city. It seems all this area was ocean during the the early cretaceous period. Meaning that these fossils can have around 77 million years old? They are bigger than a tennis ball! Can someone help to identify these exactly and the possible date of age? Thank you! What is this fossil or what

Hello, my name is Mohammed, I live in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, I am an amateur and I like to search for strange things that excite me. I found these stones and a lot of fusion crust and there are always stones around them and I think they are meteorites and some of them I think are fossils, I go once a week to this place and I am surprised With more strange stones, note that there are traces of coal burning or cooking in the past. I hope that you will help me identify them. 5. Hello. I found this scleractinian coral fossil in the Hanifa Formation in Saudi Arabia which dates back to the Oxfordian, Jurassic. It doesn’t seem to be mentioned in scientific papers and I think it could be a new species. If so, what family and genus is it. Thank you!!

    Ediacaran fossils from Saudi Arabia

Hellooooo i traveled 2 and a half hours to a Ediacaran deposit of sandstone and mudstone(600 million years old) near Madinah in Saudi Arabia. I found what I think is wave ripples, is that true? I also found some sort of imprint fossil showing perfect bumps, I don’t think erosion can create a pattern like that since there weren’t any others like it that I saw. if this is a fossil it is definitely the oldest fossil I am ever going to find since it is Precambrian. thank you so much for your time and effort!!!

    Syringopora?

Hello why there is a Syringopora coral in a NEOGENE-Quaternary formation(Jeddah Saudi Arabia). I regularly find this type of coral and it didn’t seem like much until I learnt that it (or something that looks very very similar)went extinct in the Permian 250 million years ago. there are two possibilities 1: this isn’t Syringopora 2:it is Syringopora and it went extinct much later than we previously thought. the last image is a real image of a Syringopora from the internet. thank you for your time ! Ammonite or Gastropod ?

Hi friends, I went to Aruma formation area (Campanian-Maastrichrtian) to the North of Riyadh city and found this small fossil , 26mm long by22mm What could it be?
  14. Please could anyone help me with the identification of these fossils. I have very limited knowledge so appreciate any comments. All fossils were found in Thumamah Park near Riyadh in central Saudi Arabia and all were collected loose from the ground. The age of the formation here is Cretaceous according to the geological data I can find. The bottom two photos are two sides of the same fossil which looks to me like an oyster of some sort (but could be totally wrong). Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
