  1. Here are some rare teeth and bones from Cave Bear found in Southeastern Serbia,and also some Cave Hyena teeth and one possible canine root from a Brown Bear(not sure).
  2. Hi people! I need help for identifying these two canine roots.They were found in some Cave in Southeastern Serbia,along with Cave Bear,Cave Hyena,Bison and Deer bones. I got this as a gift from my friend who has found them also this smaller partial tooth which i think also that is from a Cave Hyena. He thinks that the roots belongs to Cave Hyena canines.On the last picture u can see the scale with his teeth collection and with 3 teeth that he gave me. Thanks

  4. Hi everyone ! I'm here as u know to show u my Personal finds which are now also in my collection.All of the fossils belongs to Miocene epoch (14,5myo) and they're found in Marl stone Quarry in Popovac,Serbia.Here u can see almost whole fish fossil,just without the head and the tail.I hope soon to find one whole . Except that fish,you can also see many fish remains,snail,lake clams,leaf,Equisetum part i think also...And one tinny bone,i honestly don't think that's from a fish tho.I hope u will enjoy Pozdrav, Darko

After a while i finally decide to hunt some fossils at my old spot,Marl stone Quarry in Popovac.After few hours i found almost whole fish remains,lake clams and some plants...And also one bone which i think that is from a bird or from a mammal.     A bird or a mammal bone ID ?

    Hi guys ! Can anyone help me out with this ? I found two days ago at my Marl stone Quarry a bone and I don't know if it's from a mammal or from a bird? The lake as you know is from the Miocene epoch.I will send you pics now,it's quite small bone....It looks like metacarpal or metatarsal bone to me..

    Bison tooth ?

    Hi to all. Today i found this tooth in the stream in the middle of the Forest. Last time when i was there,i found one huge oyster.So the question is:Is this a Bison tooth or not? The one on the right side i found on the road near the forest,it's also heavy as this one from the stream. If someone can help, it would be much appreciated

    Horse or a Bos tooth?

    Pozdrav! Found this today after a heavy rain in my garden,not sure if this is a bos or a horse tooth.I try with burning test and it really is a fossil .

    Wild boar tusk?

    Hi to all! I found this wild boar tusk few years ago in a 3,5m deep hole in my garden in village of Svojnovo. I know for sure that on this soil lived few thousand years ago a Vinča culture people.I found so many man made pottery and balls from clay,also some bones.The question is: Is this a fossil or not? I tried with burning and it smells a bit but not so intense.Does exists some other technique how to see is this a real fossil or not? Thanks

    Fossilized tooth or not?

    Hello My friend found this tooth in a Timok river,eastern Serbia.He thinks that this tooth may be fossilized.It's heavier than a normal tooth,almost like a rock.He tried with lighter to burn it a little bit and told me that it doesn't have a smell.Now the second question is: from which animal this tooth may be ?

    Ammonite Id

    Zdravo! This is my second attempt to see which species of ammonite i have in my collection.The ammonite is From Stara Planina Mountain and probably from a Jurassic period. Any kind of help will be much appreciated.

    Museum of Paraćin

    Zdravo! I took a little trip to the my hometown's Museum.It's pretty small Museum but it has a lot of things to offer: Things from the Celtic,Roman,Vinča and Serbian Culture. But above all i love the most fossils that were found here in Paraćin...U can see here Bones from Mammoths,Cave Bears,mollars from a Wooly rhino ...etc...But the most fascinating thing is the skull of a Diplocynodon moraviensis,the Aligatoroid that was found in Popovac . Hope you guys enjoy

    Fish ID

    Hi everyone! I found this last year with my ex girlfriend at Marl stone Quarry in Popovac.It's a fish tail. She found it to be exact Can anyone tell me what species can this be? I have two opitions right now: Gobius sp. and Mugil sp. If u ask me why, i can only say that several fish tails have been found there from them as well :D. If someone can help,it will be awesome!
