Shark vertebra -
I'm quite used to finding small fish vertebra from these small sized fish coprolites @GeschWhat from the Oxford Clay of Peterborough. But this one below has more of a shark vertebra appearance, or are there different variations of fish vertebrae. All vertebrae measuring between 2 and 3 millimetres. This one below is also a fish vertebra.

I went to Brownies for the first time last Saturday. It was beautiful as the water was completely blown out by the Nor'easter storm of the day before. There were trees down everywhere along the roads near the park. I didn't find much, just a few tiny teeth because of how the water was blown out. So I went back today and was thrilled to find one shark vertebra & two other vertebrae. One looks like it is from a fish. The third is unknown to me. A Very Large Cretaceous Shark Vertebra From The Mount Laurel Formation

My Friend from Texas was once living and working in New Jersey some nearly 13 years ago. While on a fossil hunting trip to Rammanssin brook he spotted something in the wall of the Mount Laurel Formation and seen this shark vertebra partially exposed ,,insitu .. just saying here I am. Well when he showed me this vertebra,,,,My jaw just dropped to the floor,,,,I just couldn't believe such a large shark vert could come out of any N.J. Formation and I remembered being at the M.A.P.S collection and seeing big shark vert's in the collection from N.J. but these where about six in association to each
