Hello everyone,
I'm at Lake Wallenpaupack in northeastern PA. I had never really thought to look for fossils here, but I took a look around and very soon at arriving here I found this in a large boulder. It is Pennsylvania bluestone (sandstone) of the shohola member of the Catskill formation, Devonian in age. I believe freshwater deposits? Fossils are scarce but not unknown in this rock, I was thinking a trace fossil of some sort. Could be created by human activity, not sure. If new pictures are needed, they may be provided.
