New to group and fossil hunting in general. Went to NJ beaches a week ago with my wife for our 16th wedding anniversary. We walked 4 beaches in 1 day. *(I do not recommend Atlantic city. Just got a bunch of negative energy on their boardwalk walking past the casinos. ) we collected several "cool" looking minerals and whatever we thought was unique. As I was looking at a few of these things in bright natural sunlight I started seeing patterns in the crystal looking ocean rocks. I shined a bright flashlight on it at different angles and it became more and more clear that it might be a fossil. Crill or Shrimp of some sort . As you look around the stone it crystallized looking like some type of ocean dweller. Tell me what you think. I seriously am a newbie and fascinated with fossils and crystals. Hope the video is good enough. You can see the shrimp type of fossil crystallized like that. I may be dead wrong. But nonetheless it's fun finding them and finding out. Thank you for the forum. Hello. I found these on a Croatian island - they don't strike me as one of their regular Jurassic finds, as it appears to be more inside a fault of petrified red soil amidst the abundant limestone. They look kinda "new". Can anyone tell me what they are? I found them on two locations. Not a geologist, so no idea. Whale and other large marine life bones? Polished by the sea? After some seizmic event?

Hi everyone! I found this yesterday on a pebbley/rocky shore near Solva in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, UK. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? The stone is roughly 15cm x 15cm and was found on the mid shore. Thanks in advance! Hannah

A friend of mine spotted this on the beach at Belmar, NJ yesterday February 2nd. This is kind of an unusual locale, adjacent to the jetty at Shark River Inlet where the Shark River meets the Atlantic. In the past my buddy and I have found small beachworn fossil shark teeth at this spot, so we thought for old time's sake we'd take a quick look again. We didn't find any teeth (there's much less fine gravel there now than in the past) but he did find this, which is way bigger than anything we've found here before. I have some guesses but I would like other eyes on this too in case I'm missing something obvious. Thanks in advance

Found washed up shore of Lake Superior. It is hard like a rock and smooth but bumpy. Some type of fossil seed?

I found this on the shore of a lake. At first I thought it was a petrified mushroom. It looks very similar to a mushroom. But, someone mentioned it could possibly be a horn coral. I really have no fossil knowledge so I'm just interested in what this possibly could be. It's very cool looking.
