I now have 2 slabs with Agnostids: One that I found last week, and one that I bought years ago at Fernbank Museum of Natural History. You know what to do: Show 'em if ya got 'em! This is the hash slab I bought with some Agnostids and Elrathria: And this is the Barrandagnostus inexpectans that I found last week up in Chatsworth. Probably my most proud find in the Conasauga shale:

Toothy Rainbow: What is the weirdest colored shark tooth you have?
MeargleSchmeargl posted a topic in General Fossil Discussion
I'm sure y'all are aware that fossil shark teeth come in many colors, from Bone Valley White to Jet Black. I've also heard of weirdly colored ones, including some that had purplish roots! So what is your weirdest colored tooth? For me, it's a small one that has a pitch black root and a sky blue blade (no related image, though). -
Hello again, Paleo friends! It's been a while. It was way back in my July trip to Summerville that I got this 2 14/16" horse tooth from the Hawthorne, the same formation producing the Megs in the area. Finally got around to finding an image compressor so I could actually show y'all: Flip side: Grinding surface: Root side (kinda blurry though): What do you guys have?
