Hello all! I am new to fossil hunting and having a blast. We live in a area rich in Miocene fossils. I found this recently along one of our beaches. My first instinct was "it's a rock. Keep moving" but I couldn't leave it alone. LOL! Any thoughts?

Hi everyone! I'm Cynthia and I'm fortunate to live here in Southern Maryland, very near the Calvert Cliffs, which I'm sure some of you know is rich in early to middle miocene fossils. Though I've been collecting most of my life, I've become much more involved this year. And like most people walking the cliffs, I'm always looking for that elusive Megalodon tooth. I'm excited to see where everyone is collecting and what you have all found. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully, I'll find some interesting things to share as well. Cheers and happy hunting!
