Hi Everyone, I went fossil hunting last weekend on the Norfolk coast, UK. A long walk up and down the beach of Happisburgh. Well known for its Ice Age mammal finds. I found a few different pieces, but this one in particular caught my eye. It's been rolled around in the surf somewhat, but I was hoping someone might be able to ID this for me? Because it does retain some shape still, it kind of looked like the end of a femur or tibia? But it does also resemble an ankle bone from a large animal, possibly Mammoth, Rhino or Bison? What do we think? Thanks in Advance, Jim.

Pleistocene rib and vertebra found independently in Eastern Lesser Poland

I was told the rib could belong to some Pleistocene horse or a young mammoth. There were also proposals that the vertebra belonged to the steppe bison or the woolly rhinoceros. They both were found in Eastern Lesser Poland. What do you think? Thanks in advance!

Dear Guys, I have found very interesting and big radius bone which should belong to large ungulate. It is bigger than simple cow, I think. Talking about bisons in my area (Lithuania, Eastern Europe) the largest was Bison priscus. The age of bone is 10-13 thousand years judging by in situ sand rocks in my town. The size of bone is 18 cm in length and it is much wider in the articular part. Any idea what is this? Best Regards Domas
