They're building a new highway and I found this where they had just dug up. Could this be a fossil or just an interesting stone created by nature. Hopefully you don't mind helping.

Rock, Bone, or Native American Tool?
Dmgs11 posted a topic in Is It Real? How to Recognize Fossil Fabrications
Found at Sandy Hook in the Atlantic Highlands area on a bay side beach.. any thoughts? I haven't done the tongue test, but it does seem to 'stick' to a damp finger. -
I found this on the shore of lake Ontario in youngstown new york. I was wanting to know what these white marks are. One looks like a tooth and a couple others look like spoons. On another rock is a small heart. Thank you in advanced for your insight

Hello. I found this some time ago, in an outcrop, of the Upper Cretaceous (Cenomanian). some fragments of belemnite, which seems to me a poorly preserved hedgehog radiola, a solitary coral, (it may be a kind of placosmilia). and a curiously shaped stone, which has me puzzled, and I would like to know what it is. sorry for the photos, but I don't have a good tool to make them better.

Hello, I found this on a walk along the Thames in London. It caught my attention due to the unusual shape. Can someone tell me if it is a bone or just a stone? It is not as heavy as one would expect a stone to be but I am not an expert. Many thanks, Fiona

Hi, This is my first post, so I hope I follow all the guidelines... If not, please let me know! This stone was found recently in North Spain, in Leon, near the village of La Magdalena. It was in the top of a mountain, surrounded by marine fossils. I have no idea if it is a stone or a fossil but it is a very weird stone. If you have any idea of what it could be, just let me know! Thank you.

So I’m so eager to find some kind of fossil that at this moment everything looks like a fossil to me. But today on the beach i found this weird formed object about 50 cm deep. Anyone has any idea if this is a stone or a fossil? It is also very light, not stone like at all... found this on Zakynthos, Greece on a beach close to Banana Beach about 30 mins away from the capital.
