Found this strange rock or fossil out in a creek on the land i’m currently living on in cross roads, tx. I was mostly intruiged by the cracks- though I wouldn’t be surprised nor disappointed if it was just a strange rock.

I'm assuming this is just geology, but I wanted to make sure. I found it in a seasonal creek bed in south central Missouri, USA. It measures 3 inches by two inches and is a little whiter than the image indicates. Any help is appreciated. Doug

Hi All, I found this strange looking rock in a creek bed in central Queensland. I've never seen anything like it before. Maybe fossilized coral of some type? There are opal fields and dinosaur fossils in the area. Sorry about the blurred photos, my phone is just about stuffed. Thanks

Petrified fruit? ...and if it is how do I determine it's age and what exactly it is? Though I have not weighed it it does appear to be significantly lighter than normal stones it's size. Appreciate any help I can get Thanks
