Found this in sweden malmö. The chalk is danian period 66-61 myo it looks like fish to me. The pieces are very small. If its a fish what part of it might it be?

Found this Shell near gothenburg sweden. Unsure what age and species. I once asked the local museum of the age of the fossil rocks from the beaches. And they say its roughly 80 myo Anyone know what age? I Think 80 myo but wanna be sure

So i fossil hunt mostly in beaches. Where the rocks and fossils are from denmark. Im in sweden but how can i date the rocks? When i dont know what formation they came from? And i have found sea urchins and crinoid stars. But can i also find teeth and bones? Mostly of the rocks are from the cretaceous. If i should look for teeth and bones should i look around the loose rocks for loose teeth and bones? Or in rocks? How does fossil bones look like when the water has worn them? Is there any chance of even finding teeth? Sorry for the newbie questions

Found this fossil in ignaberga. Sea Urchin? Its around a millimeter. The location is cretaceous aged.

Im not sure if these are normal rocks. But they remind me of fish teeth ( i dont know much about fish fossils ) it was found in skåne ignaberga cretaceous

How to find fossil layers in a igneous rock area?

So i live in a part of sweden that has no fossils. In beaches yes. But i wonder can i find fossil layers still? The museum said that there are no layers in my town. But i have seen many people find new undiscovered locations. So should i look in creeks? I have sometimes found flint in streams and rivers. I have thought about going to places where nobody really has been and look if i can find anything -

I have noticed when prepping swedish belemites that when i remove matrix and shell fragments small holes come up. And its very annoying. Is there any cause to this? Is it just how i prep? I hope u can see it in the pictures. Should i polish it? Hope that someone knows the cause

Found at one of my fossil spots in sweden. The fossils there come from denmark and the material is cretaceous roughly 80 mil. Atleast what the local museum said. Anyways what is this? Tried to scrape it off thought it was dirt. But i think its apart of the rock. Any ideas?

Found this in a Swedish beach. The fossils there are from denmark. The top looks like a Eroded sea urchin but not sure what the other one is.

Found this trilo head in kinnekulle. Its really small looks like Only 1 eye got preserved. It was laying on top of small rocks. It was raining before i got there. So maybe freshly exposed? Anybody knows the species?

Found this rock in ignaberga sweden. Its very lightweight its 1 cm ignaberga is cretaceous aged. Might it be bone?

Are there any fossil sites in gothenburg? The only one i know near is kinnekulle but its a 2 hour drive. I have found fossils in beaches but they are from denmark. Would be Nice with a more local fossil spot

Hello, friends. I received some crumbly rocks, that are principally crinoidal limestone chunks from Rattvik, Dalarna County, Sweden from @Kasia They are Late Ordovician in age, probably Boda Limestone, and when I boshed them I uncovered three brachiopods and this little specimen that I think is a bivalve. I'm leaning towards Ctenodonta, but I don't know my bivalves very well, so I am asking for help. It's 8 mm wide at it's widest point. Thank you very much for looking and elbow bumps for any suggestions. Tim @Fossildude19?

Hello all, I recently acquired this unidentified illaenid trilobite from the ordovician of Sweden. It's had some sloppy repair work (which I'm hopeful I can improve) but before I do I'm hoping someone can help me put a genus to it. It has a long, robust genal spine which doesn't seem to match any illaenus I've seen from Sweden. Any help is appreciated.

Hello! I found this pretty little thing at the beach today. It seems to be a tooth of some sort. It’s about 4 cm long and 2,5 cm wide. Would love any feedback I could get on what it might have belonged to. Unfortunately it’s very frail and broke as I brought it home, but I tried to piece it together for the photos. The first two photos are taken with microscope 200x enlargement. thank you for taking the time to look at it!

These are also from the Alum Formation at Raback, Vastergotland, Sweden. Upper Cambrian. But I have no idea what these ones are. They're in a very dark grey shale. Very small - up to 3 mm wide. Thank you very much everybody for looking and/ or providing assistance. @piranha

Wins from an auction hosted by my friend @Kasia These bits are in a medium grey limestone found at Raback, near Kinnekulle, Vastegotland, Sweden, so are probably from the Upper Cambrian part of the Alum Shale Formation. Maybe Peltura scaraboides? Or is there not enough left to get close to an id? Max 5 mm wide and 4 mm long. All specimens are on the same rock. The scale's in mm and is partially obscuring a bit seen better below : Not really expecting too much from these tiny fragments, but any help or blind guesswork very much appreciated. @piranha @Johannes @Dromiopsis But anyone else more than welcome to comment too Thank you.
