Need help IDing these two teeth. Found them next to each other, west georgia, between Columbus and Macon. Look like great whites but it seems so far from an ocean and I have no idea how long teeth stay white, assuming they were fossils that washed up in the recent rain.

Not to long ago I got a gorgosaur tooth as shown on my other post strange juvenile gorgosaurus tooth when I was studying it I did some research to make sure it’s a gorgosaur tooth I found out there are ways to indentify tyrannosaur teeth from Canada and Montana the main way is the cross section if the cross section is fat more like a circle it’s a despletosaurus if it’s more skinnier more oval shaped it’s a gorgosaur also another way is the size if it’s more then 3 inches it’s despletosaurus if it’s 3 inches or less it’s probably a gorgosaur or a small despletosaurus tooth the top tooth is a despletosaurus then the cross sections the first cross section is a despletosaurus see it looks more like a circle then the gorgosaur more of a oval then the gorgosaur tooth

Hello. I finally got around to posting some finds. Besides the teeth idk what I have. I am still new to what I am finding so anything that looks interesting please let me know.

I hit my favorite creek spot again and I found a lot more new things than I usually do. I found these teeth that looked like broken shark teeth tips but I realized were to flat to be shark teeth. Sorry the seconds blurry. But they seem to be sharp on one edge and round on the other. And yes I know i have a few croc teeth mixed in.

Could someone please ID these therapod teeth from the Lourhina formation? All are kimmeridgian and around 2cm. No. 2 is described as allosaurid, lourhinasaurus?

I have this piece, which sadly I do not know much about, being that it was acquired at an estate sale and had no info. I have not been able to find something similar looking online, except for maybe a small section of teeth from a helicoprionid shark? The piece is about 6 x 7" and the teeth(?) are about 1/2" in length.

My 8 year old son has been saving his allowance for some time so he can get a nice Spinosaurus tooth. He will have about 350.00-400.00 saved up soon. I have read several things on repairs and fakes, but still do not have great confidence in what I am looking at. I have found a few sites that appear to be reputable, but I am concerned about spending this much money on a tooth still. I am wanting him to make a good investment and it sounds like Spinosaurus teeth are not all that rare but over 4" seems to be a more unusual tooth. In the 350.00-400.00 range what size tooth should we expect to get? Is there another fossil that would be a better purchase for him in this price range? He already has a 5" and 3.5" Megalodon tooth he bought by saving his money.

Hello! I am looking for buying these two great teeth of carcharodontosaurus. The seller assures that they are not restored. I think they are of good quality and have good enamel and good serrations. Do you think they are of good quality? Is it possible to get better pieces? Thank you very much for your help. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N__GZroIEmRJ2VHlUzf8YvgeQbacdhfr/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_Ft6XS2bwSgrG63tuUipBwDKM4fC-w-d/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Na_iaYfJz7w-OK8S6pqLRmp0Y8DDSmRn/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IT7SQNWcuU746VL6rGoVF_ZJrq-qotla/view?usp=drivesdk

I have a few horse teeth I’ve found beachcombing, mostly after big storms. I have two that are really wide, I was thinking maybe it could be a camel tooth or something or maybe the other ones aren’t whole? I’ll put a few more pics below because I can only upload 4mb at a time

I’m thinking this is some type of aquatic billed dinosaur tooth based on some teeth I saw for sale online. I haven’t been able to find much info about it, any ideas?

Hey everyone! If someone could post a pic of what a HC champsosaur tooth looks like that would be appreciated. I have not found one yet (I thought I did a while ago but they turned out to be from Melvius) but I am interested to see what they really look like as most of what I see online look like fish teeth or crocodile teeth. Thanks, Noel

Hey everyone! So, I have recently acquired some fossils and, forever the skeptic and pessimist, I just want to see if they're (likely to be) real or not. Spinosaurus Tooth (Egypt) - Unknown Pterosaur Bone (Unknown) - Mosasaur Teeth (Morocco) - I'm very aware of the fake jaw aspect, I'm just interested in whether or not the teeth are real. Thank you!

I was wondering if anyone here can tell me if this is legitimate or not? The seller says it's a museum quality piece, but after looking at it and the back I question. It almost sounds hollow when I knock on it. Would love any feedback, trying to build up my collection and thought this was a very nice looking fossil, but I know very little.

Last Saturday I was in the quarry Kromer (Posidonia Shale, Lower Jurassic) for the first time of the year. Maybe some of you already noticed this topic: http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/93302-prepping-a-plate-with-some-ichthyosaur-vertebrae/ Beside of this plate I also found some other cool things but firstly here is a picture of the quarry: You are allowed to search in the heaps on the left behind the white car. The material isn't that bad at the moment. I was there about 6 hours and I found about 6 teeth. I already prepped three Stenosaurus (crocodile) teeth: 1 cm long: 1.8 cm long: (the best one) And 1.2 cm long: (damaged) I also found this fish: The cross section is about 5 cm long and it will need very much prep work... I don't think that I will do this one in the near future although a friend and expert said that this is a kinda nice find! My favourite finds were the bones. I found several incomplete ones which I didn't take home but also the plate with the vertebrae and another plate with some bones on it. Here is a picture of one of the visible bones: I think that should be an Ichthyosaur Humerus but I am not entire sure. I will post some more pictures of it tomorrow and after the prep. There are also a couple of ribs on the plate so it could be interesting! And for all the invertebrate fans. Here is a sweet little ammonite: Thanks for watching!!

Hey guys. I recently was thinking I have been collecting more shark teeth than dinosaur teeth and that my dinosaur teeth collection was quite poor. I would be looking to get some of the basic amateur dinosaur teeth from the USA such as Archeroraptor, Nanotyrannus,... I would be looking for quality, not size, so I would be interested in any teeth, even minuscule ones but good quality. Not really looking for partials. Also Interested in having my first dinosaur claw. I was wondering if any dinosaur collector who has these teeth would be interested in a trade, either for rare shark teeth, trilobite fossils or Dino material I have. I would also buy from them but mostly interested in a trade since I have a pretty low budget. If you are interested or have any questions or suggestions, please PM me! Thanks a lot and kind regards.
