Hi everyone! This is my first post and I'm so excited this forum exists. The first fossil I'm asking for an id on was found at the TN VA line off interstate 81 at a construction site. My husband Larry said that there were several pieces of it like a cut tree so we were thinking it might be a piece of petrified wood. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The measurements are 228.6 mm L x 228.6 mm W on biggest side 177.8 mm W smallest side x 114.3 mm H.

Hello from the coast of SC. I’ve been finding shark teeth for many years now, only to recently realize the numerous other fossils I have been over looking. Only if i had kept some LOL how is it??? “ hind site is 20/20”. now that i have found this site I’ll be holding on to more odd looking items that I figured were worn or broken sea shells. Looking forward to learning even more. TY all in advance Mike

I just heard there’s a new Sara so I’m getting the package ready to send off later today. I guess like everyone has been telling me it will all work out was true! I’m still extremely sorry for the mixup and I will still keep searching for the original Sara. It won’t be the same as the original Sara though.

Found this in the outskirts of San Antonio Texas where The city cut into a hill for a road. Looks like it has a few bite marks. Any help to ID this would be much appreciated.

Not sure about these two If they are just rocks either. Any help would be appreciated too! By the way, thank you all for the help. I’ve definitely been learning what a real dinosaur anything looks like or a fossil looks like, great finds too from you guys.

Thank you for allowing me to join! I currently reside in North Georgia, but spend a lot of time in the panhandle of Florida. My family are members of GMS and we hunt rocks and fossils with them in the Southeastern USA. Due to the hobbies of my extended family I often find myself walking North Florida beaches for hours and pick up a decent amount of invertebrate fossils there. Thanks again and I look forward to this learning opportunity!
