Good evening fossil folks, I found a small bone on a Tampa Bay beach on the west coast of Florida. After doing some research I saw similarities to a cave bear toe bone and/or bison. It's approximately 1" x 3/4" and very worn with a baseline crack. I have 7 photos of different angles. Can you ID? Thanks all!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is definitely not the end of a digit from a large carnivorous theropod. The only potentials from the Morrison formation where it was found, would be different species of ceratasaurs, allosaurs, and torvosaurus, right? and they, along with most carnivorous theropods have claws at the end of every digit, including the little foot&heel stubbies, don't they? wouldnt this have to be from something without claws? Or at least no claw on this?

Hi!, I found this one on a path made from seashells. This bone was included. Probably vacuumed up from the seabed and dumped on to dry land. The closest sea to here is the North Sea (The Netherlands) And I've been told that there was once tundra there with lots of mammoths. My biology teacher told me it probably was a toe bone. Could someone tell me for sure what it is? The rope is to keep it standing up and the stripe is 1Centimeter. Dimensions are 4cm tall, 3 cm deep, 4 cm wide.

I may have purchased this bone whilst drunk, for reasons that I cannot fully explain. Is it possible to say anything about it, other than that it's a toe bone? Thank you.

Hi Below please find some pictures of a toe bone that was found in the Hell Creek formation. Unfortunately I do not have a straight top view or front view. Given the size of 15cm (6 inch), is it save to assume that this is a t-rex phalanx?

I found this in my grandmother’s field in Jefferson County, MO about 27 years ago. I have no idea what it could be. I had to add three tags, so I added toe since my brother always laughed and said that’s what I had found. Haha. I don’t even have an uneducated guess as to what it could be, but I ruled out a giant’s toe a long time ago. Any ideas on what this is? It’s about 3” long. The pitted part doesn’t stick to my tongue, but the white/brown part does which seems weird. Any help would be appreciated!

Found a small 1" long bone recently along Calvert Cliffs. In the pic it's the small bone just under the small lower cowshark tooth. Wondering if this is either a land mammal toe bone or a possible toe bone from a bird? Daryl.

Toe bone (phalange) of a Thescelosaurus from the right foot.

Found this in a dry creekbed near Silver City NM. Thought it may have drifted down from the Permian rock that's about half a mile away, or the Cretaceous rock that's about the same distance. Looks like a toe bone with a claw on one end, but I can't tell if I'm just imagining things. Don't know why, but I'm thinking maybe Dimetrodon? Any clue? Thanks.

I was recently given an apple box full of fossils and minerals and I am starting to sort through it all. The man that gave me them traveled to many parts of the nation during his career so it is hard to say where they came from. A friend of mine suggested this could be a toe... any help is appreciated. Thanks

Found these fairly close together in the Peace River. I think #1 is mammoth toe bone (height 3 1/4"). Need help with ID. Dn't have a clue what the other two are - ???related??? I know, i know, #2 looks like it came from a BBQ with those smooth skills cut edges! What do you think?

Hadrosauridae indet. A slender Digit IV phalanx 1 of a left Hadrosaurid foot. Several different hadrosaurs are present at Judith River Formation. There are Hadrosaurs from both Lambeosaurinae and Saurolophinae present in Judith River Formation. These include Brachylophosaurus, Probrachylophosaurus, Lambeosaurus and Corythosaurus.

Hi, I bought this raptor toe bone a few weeks ago. The website said that it is from an unidentified theropod, likely Acheroraptor. Troodon informed me about how not much material has been found of Acheroraptor. And also he said that my bone looks more like a turtle bone than a theropod bone. I think that he's probably right. I just want to hear some more opinions about it. It is from the Hell Creek Formation. Let me know what you guys think!

I Need help identifying this fossil i found near Davison Michigan. This item may have came from elsewhere due to me finding it in a GUTTER on a house! at a landscaping facility. To me it looks like a claw or toe. i was looking at the fossils of sea creatures first but the lines in the item appear to run front to back not side to side. most others that see this think a toe/claw of some sort. Really neat item, just wanna try to put a name to it. Thank you

Unidentified toe bone from Peace River, Florida. Pleistocene epoch. Measures approx 2" long x 1⅞" at widest end x 1¼" thick at the wide end. -
I found this in The Little Miami River basin while kayaking in Cincinnati OH sometime in the early 2000's. It is about 1 inch long and 3/4 wide. It looks to me ( I know little to nothing about fossils) like a toe-nail/claw,horn or tooth. Or not...lol. The back looks to have a vein or bone running thru it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
