I visited my favorite shark tooth site in the Miocene Burdigalian again today and made a few nice finds along with something that has me scratching my head. I'm pretty sure it's a partial mammal tooth, but have no idea what it might be. It seems to be from quite a small ruminant anyway, judging by the chewing surface, measuring in at 7mm. wide x 6mm. high. I checked out @Harry Pristis albums, but couldn't find a match. I've posted views from first the chewing surface, then 2 sideviews, the root and the last one is the side which appears to be broken. Any ideas anyone?

Receiving this gorgeous but mysterious specimen is from Upper Pennsylvanian limestone dated around 290-300 million years ago from somewhere around Kansas City. Looks like a tooth to me and my best guess would be orodus? But I have little experience with Pennsylvanian shark teeth in general and especially from this area, also cannot find a comparison elsewhere online. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi all, Unfortunately I have no location info on this tooth which i know is really important but the seller can't obtain this information as it was from an old collection of someone that passed away. Does the morphology match Ankylosaurus or nodosaur rather than Pachy and Thescelosaurus? Thanks Jai

Hello again TFF! I found, what might be, a partial tooth in some Aguja Fm matrix that I haven't been able to ID...It has an interesting texture on it so it may be a piece of bone or something else entirely! It is 13mm tall, 12mm wide and 7mm thick. Thanks for your help! Front Back Top Side

My grandma has recently given me her entire shark tooth collection with over 2,000 teeth she’s found since she was a girl at the beach house she owns. One of her teeth is not like the rest, however, and is really thick compared to the others even as worn as it is. For reference this American quarter is barely short of an inch, so the tooth is likely exactly an inch. To me, it looks like a canine of some kind but I can’t tell. These are the best images I could get within the 3.95 mb max and can post more if necessary too. Anybody know anything more about it, or if it is just an ordinary shark tooth?

Hello everyone. My first post in a while, and I just want to know the authenticity of these fossils that I bought online some time ago. I understand not the flashiest or most compelx, but I would just like to know. Please let me know if you would like better pictures. Mosasaur: Edaphosaurus- 2 replies

Good Evening, After one failed attempt of procuring an authentic Megaladon tooth and the money lost, I’m ready to resume attempts of purchasing a genuine specimen. Can you advise on a reputable location, store or website where I can now purchase an authentic megaladon tooth? I am very wary of scams, fake teeth, concrete molds, lead injection, etc. Support appreciated.
