This question is directed at those of us who do buy fossils. Would you buy fossils from China? Legally, it seems questionable. They are highly available, which makes me wonder what is going on.

I have a ton of belemnites lying around, the picture does not include all of them, just a few examples of what I have, there are probably around three more batches like this I just have not found them yet, (I will post pictures when they are found). Since these are not too spectacular I am also not looking for anything serious but if anyone is interested please contact me through this or PM.

Here is a double (almost) concrection of Portunus monspelliensis (old name: Neptunus granulatus) from the Miocene of Bosa. The left claw is crushed as you can see, don't know if because of a predation. Tips of the pinchers are restored. Sorry for the bad quality pictures, if required I will try to make better. Anyway I'm mostly looking for other prepped/unprepped crabs, but any cool fossil could interest me. If you have any crab for trade but you aren't interested in that just let me know, we could find an agree in other ways. Thanks

I recently bought a few collections/accumulations of Mazon Creek fossils. One of them seems to have been a collection of all fauna. After sorting out all the pecopteris ferns and such, I am left with a pile of what seems to be mostly fauna. I am not very familiar with them and don't have very much time right now to figure out the classifications. So I thought maybe someone here would like to work out some sort of trade in exchange for ID'ing these nodules for me? There are shrimp, worms, maybe a few more unusual plants, and stuff I have no idea on. I think I have about 50 nodules. PM me if you are interested, thanks!

I wasn’t sure where to put this so our keepers may need to move thisnif it’s in the wrong spot. I have a Harbor Freight blast cabinet that I don’t need. It is less than a year old. I just needed something flat for my microscope. This works well with magnifying lamps and head worn magnifiers. It is worth $100 and I’d be interested in trading for a nice ammonite if anyone is interested. PM me if you want to discuss. I’m in Dallas, TX so local pick up is best but I can ship it if needed.

Gorgeous George The Globetrotting Gorgosaurus' Travel Blog
DevonianDigger posted a topic in General Fossil Discussion
A while back, I received a package from our good friend Adam, better known as @Tidgy's Dad. In said package was a small plastic dinosaur that had apparently been gifted to him by none other than @JohnBrewer. This means that this little fella had started his journey in England, made his way to Morocco, and had since travelled to the United States. It was decided after careful consideration that his name was to be Gorgeous George the Globetrotting Gorgosaurus. Now he is traveling the globe spreading joy and cheer to members of TFF! If you are fortunate enough to play host to Gorgeous George, here are the rules: 1. George must be photographed in his host's collection. 2. He must then be sent to an unsuspecting TFF-er along with any trade. (You can't notify the recipient that they are getting him, he must be an unannounced visitor!) 3. He should be accompanied by a note in case the recipient is not familiar with proper Globetrotting Gorgosaurus procedure. 4. In order to increase the odds of surprising his new host, his visit photo should be uploaded only AFTER he has been received at his new temporary home. *NOTE: The hope is that in addition to having fun, this will also give members the chance to share their collections and have their prizes be seen. That being said, he must be photographed with his host collection. This does not mean that he cannot also take field trips to collecting sites and other landmarks and be photographed there as well! (Thank you to @DPS Ammonite for the suggestions!) Let's see how many miles we can put on this little plastic dino! Don't forget to have fun!- 63 replies

Looking for any trilobites not on this list (even partials)
DevonianDigger posted a topic in Member-to-Member Fossil Trades
Hello, all. I am putting out the word that I am looking for basically any material that is not already on this list. If you have partials or completes, or even recognizable bits of any trilobite not on this list, I'm hoping to help clear out some space for you by taking them off your hands, lol! Just shoot me a message if you have something you're looking to part with and we will figure something out if possible! If there is just a genus listed with no specific species, then I can't ID what it is based off of what is present and wouldn't mind having a better representation anyway. Thank you all in advance!
