Hello everyone, Here I have a peculiar trilobite specimen that I discovered cracking shale from the Wheeler Formation. It comes from the House Range in Millard County, Utah, and I know it's mid Cambrian. Thanks!

Hello everyone! This is my first post on the forum so forgive me if I make any mistakes today. I just bought a little trilobite today from a shop in Athens, Greece. It's my first time buying a trilobite, and so me being a noob at telling the differences between a fake and non-fake, I wanted to ask your opinion. It's a Moroccan trilobite and I don't know the specific species. It's black in color on a grey matrix, it's not too light in weight for it's size but not too heavy either, it's 3cm in length and it has holes and it depending on what species it is it doesn't seem too detailed. I did google it first btw and did see that those last two indicators are a sign of a resin fake, but I wanted to ask here too just to make sure. Sorry if the photos aren't that well focused! I'm not good with a camera! Also in the case that it's fake don't feel bad for me since it ws pretty cheap for a fossil! Thank you so much for your help!

I recently purchased a lot of trilobites with 2 of the trilobites in mind. Also included in the lot was this which I believe is the ventral side of a morroccan lichid. My first thought was Ceratarges but it's missing the outer pygidial spines. If anyone has any idea what species this trilobite is I'd appreciate the input. Unfortunately the specimen appears to be quite distorted so identification may not be easy.

I have been to Graf, Iowa three times in the last 10 years and am always amazed at this site with the shear number of cephalopods exposed in the rock face. This fourth trip was made to find some material for a forum member. In doing so, I took the time to look closely at the matrix present at Graf. There were gastropods, brachiopods, bivalves ,graptolites, and even trilobites hidden in the rock. I had never noticed this on my previous trips since the cephalopods are overwhelming. I would love to go back another time soon and NOT look at the cephalopods at all, to see what I could find. I am here today to get Identification of the trilo-bits that I found at Graf. My guess is Thelecalymene mammillata. @piranha @DevonianDigger, if you still are looking for trilobits, I can send a few of these. 2018-10-009.cxf

Hello everyone, I found this large trilobite pygidium today which is the largest piece of trilobite I have ever found in the area, the pygidium measuring nearly 2 inches long. Judging by the trilobits I usually find I think the area is Devonian as I have trilobits I've previously found I believe are from eldregops and greenops. The problem with this site is it's imported material from somewhere in upstate new york so I'm not 100% percent sure. Though I believe it's devonian I don't know of any species with a pygidium this size personally so would anymore with more expertise help me find an ID of what species this can belong to, I'd love to know since I can't see myself coming across another one of these in the tiny area I get to look in.

I saw these two different Trilobites and want to confirm the ID. They are from the Wheeler Shale group in Utah. Picture one is? Picture two is?

Trying to help a college out with identifications on some of their specimens... I know this trilobite is a Trinucleid, but might anyone here more knowledgeable be able to deduce what kind it is further? Or POSSIBLE locations the piece may have come from (the labelling system once used has been lost with time)? Thanks for any help!
