Is this indeed a tooth, or an example of a newb's misplaced presumption? Help me out here. Found in Walnut Creek, Austin Texas, presumably Cretaceous. Thanks!

Over the weekend I found a small vertebra at the same place I found a larger one a while back. Cretaceous, Ozan Formation, downstream of where a friend found a mosasaur skeleton some time ago. Might these two creek-stomping finds be Mossy verts? Thanks!

Large heart urchin collected in Round Rock, TX, presumably upper Cretaceous. It's 4" x 4.5" and quite large compared to others collected at the same site. Hoping to find out more about it. Thanks!

I really can't explain the title of this post. It just kind of happened. Here's yet another find from a creek in Austin, TX. Not sure of the age or variety, but I bet some of you have an idea. What do you think? Thanks for your time and consideration.

Found in Walnut Creek, downstream of a Cretaceous marine sediment layer. Could this be an osteoderm of some sort, or just a strange concretion? Any help would be appreciated.

Found this oddity in Walnut Creek in Austin, TX. I'm too new to fossil collecting to be able to identify what this is. Palm? Coral? Mineral concretion? Color me clueless. I'd appreciate your assistance.

Hi all. Here are a few possible verts I found while exploring Walnut Creek in Austin, TX. They were all found downstream of a cretaceous marine sediment layer wherein a mosasaur fossil was recently found. I can't say the fossils I found are of that layer, as they were found in a rocky shoal of the recently rushing creek. On to the candidates. #1 #2 #3 Thanks in advance. Glad to be learning from such helpful folks.

Nothing spectacular compared to most stuff I see posted, but these are the best verts and the largest piece of crab claw that I've come up with yet, so I'm pleased to add them to my collection. BRGDS sward DFW, TX
