So I was going through my bags of pet wood I've found along the Mississippi River over the last years and combining them into one container. The bags also contain other stuff I've found. I was trying to detail this piece by getting sand out of cracks and got a bit over zealous. I have been able to repair it for the most but in damaging it it provided more of a belief this is a river tumbled bit of tooth or maybe not. Here are the photos for you all to decide.

First time poster. Found these on a Canadian Beach on the east coast and they all seem to be from the same plant. They all have a very distinct triangular ridge on the side. Included photo is from the pieces with the best defined ridge.

Hi everyone, I recently purchased this trilobite from a museum gift shop and unfortunately it came with no locality, formation or species information and I haven't been able to find anything similar online. Does anybody recognize it? The larger of the two is 18mm long and the matrix is very soft. Any info much appreciated!

Hello everyone! Here I have seven pieces of petrified wood that I need your help to identify what types of wood they may be and possibly where they might come from. I unfortunately do not have any information on where they came from and what their age is. I’ve had these pieces for many years and have always wondered about what kinds of wood they once were. I purchased them from a souvenir shop in a family theatre in Tawas city, Michigan. They were sold as “Petrified wood”. The shop had many beautiful rock and mineral specimens for sale and they were selling many more pieces of petrified wood each year. I first assumed that they were from the well-known Chinle formation in Arizona, Yet I later noticed that these pieces are different and realized that there are many other formations throughout the country that bear petrified forests from varying ages. These pieces of petrified wood are beiger and darker compared to the often red and colorful crystal characteristics of Arizona wood. The vascular pore-like texture on the ends of my pieces are what stood out to me and I have a feeling that they might be that of fossilized Angiosperm wood. If so, they might be from anywhere between the Miocene Epoch to the Eocene epoch. Yet, I am completely not certain and I need your help (if possible) to ID what wood type these pieces are (Angiosperm or Gymnosperm wood) and hopefully any ideas or clues of where they may be from and of their age. Take a close look at all of the pictures of these pieces to see the details. Zoom in if necessary. I hope they are helpful and let me know if you need better quality pictures.

Today I received a special surprise at work; our magazine editor found this fossil in her yard! A nice brachiopod, it seems! Here are the two mysteries: 1. WHAT TYPE of brachiopod? (I'd be happy with FAMILY). 2. FROM WHERE? I was excited that she had MARINE FOSSILS on her land... but she said this was in a bunch of rock THEY BOUGHT for landscaping purposes. ANY ideas? I have seen nodules like this from out west - Any opinions or guesses welcome!

I am not an ammonite collector, but have a couple that I wanted to know if you could ID. I do not recall where I got them from, most likely from someone that I had given some Mazon Creek fossils too. If anyone could ID them, it would be appreciated.
