This weekend while near La Plata Missouri, I was looking through a pile of rocks brought in for the driveway and I found some interesting things (at least they are to me!). But I am not sure what I am looking at, or it it is simply nothing at all. So I am wondering if anyone would be able to shed some light on what I found? If they do turn out to be something I have a few more photos to show, thank you!

Unknown fossils in mudstone from the ballagan formation Southern Scotland. I do not think they are flute casts as they seam to be infilled with the "creature". Carboniferous.

This weekend I visited again a late ordovicium site north of Oslo, as I now know is the katian period (that applies to the earlier posts on this website which I then, mistakenly, thought was middle ordovicium). First, for the first time I found two graptolites in a limestone, and first time in this site, I m not sure but I think it is graptolites, but it seems so. Next, I found this stone which, I believe, includes an Gompoceras Nautiloid (the brown in the middle) and some nice gastropods. The size of the Nautiloid is about 4,5 cm. And then this small gastropod presered in tre dimensions

I found all of these last year in Albany County, New York. They are from the Manlius formation. Some of them I just need the species name and others I have no idea what they are. Thanks

Here's my issue, I work in a science museum and our former director wasn't good at curating. He often knew what things were on sight, but he didn't write down much for us. I have a whole box of unknown fossils. Since we have several specimens of this fossil type, they were likely collected in South or North Carolina. We do have fossils and specimens from all over the world though, so it's not a guarantee. So I don't know the location, I don't know anything about the geology, and I haven't been able to find similar fossils online visually. I have many pictures, struggling with the file size restraints. I will post more pictures in the reply. Please ask for any details I may have.

Back again with only two items we couldn't label or didn't recognize, but were tucked away in boxes, an indication whatever it was, it was important. #1: ??? Size indication: Half an inch - around 1,5 cm. Really small. #2:??? Size indication: Each circle is only a few millimeters wide. Thanks in advance!
