Hi, I have had this fossil for almost 12 years. This was my first ever fossil that I ever bought, but I never received a formal identification. What kind of trilobite do you think this is and where might it be from? I received this fossil at a Rutgers University (in NJ) rock and mineral show.

I found this while looking for petrified wood. It was found in the water around other pieces of petrified wood. I cannot tell if it is a claw or tooth or if it is just trash. Someone pleas help. Thanks.

I found this rock near my house (which sits upon schist, phyllite, and diabase), the quartz isn't uncommon here, but the silvery rock is unusual. It looks different then the usual suspects, anyone have any ideas? (Btw the powder on the one picture is some sand I dropped it in, so not part of the specimen)

These are two rocks / fossils I found in the smokey hill chalk of Kansas they may or may not be fossils.

Went to my usual fossil collecting destination yesterday, and have been going there since I was 7 years old (12 years). I came across something strange, looked as if it were in a pyrite form. Pyrite fossil wood is very common at Bracklesham, along with different types of shark teeth, coral, ray palates etc. But couldn't make this one out. Looks almost like a trilobite.. Help please!

So... I was on the Chesapeake Bay a few weeks ago and I found this little oddball. At first I thought it was plant based, because it sort of looks like a plant bud. But when I picked it up, it is definitely a tooth. You can't tell from the pictures but the top of the black root is hollow inside. I actually suspect that this is not a fossil and that it is a current tooth, partly because of the vibrant colors. I figured I would ask the experts. :-) any chance of this being Miocene?
