I found a number of fossilized bone fragments on the surface in an area of North Western Nevada which the geological map lists as "basalt flows- Pliocene- Holocene. " Any help on identifying what they might be from would be appreciated. I did try the burn test and I could not get it to smoke or have any smell that would indicate that it is not mineralized.

I found this small fossil recently. The surface geology was young volcanic- andesite and basal flows pretty much exclusively. This fossil seems to be from a previous geology that has worked its way to the surface. Any help on id would be appreciated. Small fossilized bone fragments were also found in the general area but I'm thinking this is from an invertebrate but I really don't know. It's about 5mm x 5 mm in size.

Any help identifying what this might be would be appreciated. Found in western Nevada near the Reno area. All of the geology around it is relatively young volcanic rocks, mostly rhyolite. But there is about a 6 acre area that appears to be an inlier formation of an older geology. I found this about 6 inches under ground while looking for some other rocks that were interesting. It looks similar in color and shape to some dinosaur teeth I have seen. The swirled nature of the material is unique to anything I have found online. I will post more pics in the comments.

Any help on identifying what these might be would be great. Found near Reno, Nevada in an area stated as being from the Cenozoic period. They appear to be bone to me and I did use the "stick to tongue" test and they do stick to my tongue for a second. Thank you for any help or a push in the right direction for me to find out more specifically what they are. I will add more pics in comment section.
