Thought i would start a topic about the shark teeth in this state. As you can see, Tennessee's teeth just aren't on the same level as other states. Here shark teeth evidently are harder to find. I remember reading in one of professor Berry's books that a core sample(?) Was taken in Jackson, Tn about a hundred yr. ago, the core contained one whole shark tooth of a late Cretaceous age. That is actually the only mention of shark teeth described in tennessee which i have so far found! I've heard shark teeth have been found in the Cretaceous Coon Creek formation also, but i haven't read anything on it yet. So, these teeth don't look that good, but Tennessee doesn't have many examples. If you have shark teeth from Tennessee, please post them here.

Hey guys! so I recently went looking in an old local creek for arrowheads and came across a grapefruit sized clay rock. (Assuming it was clay due to the clay in the area) once I busted it open I got many voids and very small round objects. Any help will be much appreciated!!
