Hello from West Virginia!! I am new here but I have immensely enjoyed reading all of the information I have found here tonight!! So my kids and I, were bored Sunday evening, so I had a “ Who can find the prettiest rock“ contest. We all thought we found some nice ones and I made the kids dinner and put them to bed. I don’t know why because we have picked up rocks many other times before, but this night I soaked the rocks in CLR. I know that’s probably a horrible thing to do.… But the next morning after the kids were to school I scrub them real good and was amazed! I think there’s so many fossils. My mom thinks I’m crazy! Lol and the more I seem to try to figure this out the more confused I am. Please help! Did we really find dinosaur bone, eggs, and teeth?!! SMH!! I tried to group them together as I thought fit. Hahaha.

Hi everyone, I have the most amazing story that happend this morning. I went to deliver something to a client of mine, not expecting anything a bit sleepy on the way over there, I drove up to hes amazing house drive trough , and hes secretary showed me the way. I unload the car with my delivery, and she opens the door of the castle... locks and keys sounding for a while, a big wooden door opens.. And there it was.. A full size skull of the Triceratops, just.. amazing. I was stunned. I almost dropped my stuff, I stared at it so long, still shaking from this. It looked so amazing, beyond cool. Its really massive to see in real life, it was so well preserved it even had most of its black tooth. I touched it lol, I had too, sure you will understand. Anyway I wanted to share this story with all of you. I really wish I could show you the photo and share this with everyone, but Its not allowed because of the privacy of the client. I just can't believe what I have witnessed. Cheers & nice day to everyone! Egon

So i sent 2 of my finds off for prep and have recieved them back now. looks like the delivery man has just thrown them over my 6 Foot gates despite there being FRAGILE stickers all over the box. I’m hoping they have jumped over the gates and placed it down, but who knows. theres no damage to the pieces but it could have been very disappointing!

Hey all, i found this in shale matrix near Whitby in England. Guessing it’s ichthyosaur but does anybody know what type of bone it is? Wish more was preserved in the area i found it haha

Hey guys, I am really new to this fossil hunting place. I have been hooked since grade school though. So now since I am an old man with 2 teenage boys, I have finally decided to go fossil hunting with my family. So, I was really looking to be active on this forum. One event I found interesting is the blind trade. I was about to apply, but then I saw what people were trading. How did they get so many different kinds of fossils? Over where I live, there are only shark teeth. Thanks, I live in NJ.
