  1. Hello everyone! What do you think, this is real or fake? I discovered some little spots of black paint. It has cracks filled with glue too.

    Curious odds and ends

Some things from Post Oak creek not sure if they're something or not, with exception of #3, pretty sure the one with ridges is echinoid spine and other one is fossil just don't know what. Really intrigued by whatever the yellow is, don't think it's man-made, it doesn't melt anyway.
  3. Can someone help me identify this fossil, all I know is it’s Ordovician and yellow?

    Had my hopes up

I thought I found something spectacular...but alas...believe it is only petrified wood (which is cool too!)

    Sulphurous patch?

So I was treating my collections from Betteshanger trip with Paraloid. Noticed that this specimen has this large soft yellow patch. Looks like some sort of sulphur compound? How should I treat this? Just cover the whole rock with Paraloid? Or should I remove this first?
