Hey there! I'm a fossil collector based in NC. I'm interested in all prehistoric life, most of my collection is fossils I've purchased since I don't have the time to fossil hunt currently. I'll probably be posting some fossil IDs in the future for specimens I'm not too sure about. Glad to be on the forum!

Hello all, I'm a fossil collector that owns a small collection of Cambrian-Devonian trilobites. I also collect the fossils of Penn-Dixie with around 55 or so species (I've been there a few times ). I am also big fan of the Isoteline trilobites of North America.

Anyone know if the fossil dealer Bernard Stürtz (1845-1928) from Bonn, Germany had a fossil catalogue.

Hi everyone, long time fan of prehistoric creatures of all kinds! But lately I decided to take a dive into the world of fossil hunting/collecting and give it a serious go! Like many people, Dinosaurs have been a big part of my childhood and has always been there as an interest ever since. In recent years I took my passion for marine biology and became more and more fascinated with prehistoric marine fauna. I moved to Wales some years ago so there are quite a few places with Carboniferous exposures around the coast (some inland, but have yet to explore). I have a small amount of coral/shell finds so far, and even a small piece of calamite from the same area. lately I have had a major draw towards anything from the Pleistocene era. With the emphasis mega fauna and archaic Hominids. I have just begun to collect fossils from this era. With a decently intact partial cranium of a Bison Priscus, a partial juvenile Cave Bear jaw, woolly Rhino and Mammoth Fur. If anyone knows of locations within the UK to maybe find my own ice age fossils, it’s be hugely appreciated. I don’t mind taking the journey.

I am living in Glenlevit, N.B. Canada and I am an avid fossil collector. I have discovered a large fossil site on my property which date back in the Silurian period, I have so far identified aprox. 30 different species and finding more without digging, I will post some photos later. Glad to join your group.

Hi, i'm from new zealand (little island next to australia) and I collect fossils. i collect all kinds of fossils, and i don't collect from a certain time period. if it has been in the ground for at least a couple million years, and it's from a living creature, i collect it. although i do not have particularly good paleontological knowledge, i do know a little bit about trilobites including fakes. below is a picture of an amber specimen from my collection, close up.
