Hi everyone! I am open for trading my 2'60 Tyrannosauridae indet. tooth from the Dinosaur park Fm, Belly River Group, Alberta Canada. For myself I am looking for really high quality theropod teeth. Like them from morocco with (partial) root as well. Or Tyrannosauridae from Asia always has interested me. Tarbosaurus for example.

This tooth was purchased on an auction website from a person who needed the money and sold a tooth they purchased from a reputable online dealer in 2020. All I have is an original receipt from the reputable dealer which lists Tyrannosaur tooth, Judith River Formation and the original price. Here are some pictures I just took as I just received the specimen. I am wondering if it is possible to determine the species. Thanks in advance

Hi I found this and am wondering is this a new species of tyrannosaur I don’t think it’s albertosaurus libratus because it is in a collection with gorgosaurus libratus and albertosaurus sarcophagcus so if it was albertosaurus libratus there would not be any specimens named gorgosaurus libratus there are other specimens then just this tooth too any information? Thanks.

Not to long ago I got a gorgosaur tooth as shown on my other post strange juvenile gorgosaurus tooth when I was studying it I did some research to make sure it’s a gorgosaur tooth I found out there are ways to indentify tyrannosaur teeth from Canada and Montana the main way is the cross section if the cross section is fat more like a circle it’s a despletosaurus if it’s more skinnier more oval shaped it’s a gorgosaur also another way is the size if it’s more then 3 inches it’s despletosaurus if it’s 3 inches or less it’s probably a gorgosaur or a small despletosaurus tooth the top tooth is a despletosaurus then the cross sections the first cross section is a despletosaurus see it looks more like a circle then the gorgosaur more of a oval then the gorgosaur tooth
