Been finding a few of these at one of my usual crinoid spots in Northern Kentucky. I think it's just another species of crinoid but I'm not sure. The other crinoid I've been finding here is Taxocrinus whitfieldi.

A friend of mine gave this beauty, he found it in Northern Kentucky. It's odd because Northern Kentucky isn't to far away from me, yet I never find them on the river here in Southeast Indiana.

Hi, I'm a new user, and I was looking for fossils at a road cut between Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati yesterday. Most of them were fossilized shells and various types of bryozoa, but we found one larger piece that we couldn't figure out. It's not visible from the back of the rock. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm trying not to overload you guys with requests, but I have been spending hours upon hours on the internet and in books trying to figure this stuff out. I just want to know that it all lines up with Ordovician and Kope or Fairview so I know what I have. I am in Northern Kentucky and we are finding this stuff in our backyard. At first, all I was saying was that I was finding coral and shells, but it seems that there are different varieties, and depending on where we look, we found different shapes and sizes. So, have a gander and let me know what you think... I have different angles of some of them in my photobucket album. http://photobucket.com/doodlebugger
