I bought this tooth on impulse a few days ago. To me it looks like a fully rooted Plesiosaur tooth. It has all the characteristics of being from the Kem Kem Beds aswell. I've not seen any other rooted teeth to compare it to. So, did I score, or did I buy a crocodile tooth?

I've never seriously done paleoart before. I have been wanting to try my hand at it for years but passed on it for one reason or another. Recently I fell in love with looking at fossils of keichousaurus. I also love lizards. So I decided yesterday to just do it. So here are my results. If I messed up on the anatomy in any way, please don't hesitate to let me know.

I acquired this fascinating fossil at the recent show. My first reptile bones. The dealer said it is from Morocco and of the same age (and matrix) as the mosasaur jaw sets he had next to it. But he wasn’t sure if it was a baby mosasaur or a different species of smaller aquatic reptile. I’m pretty sure TFF can answer these questions I have. 1) Is this a baby mosasaur or a different species (if so what species)? 2) Can you identify the visible bones? 3) Is it worth it or feasible to attempt to reveal more of this fossil? 4) If so, what special procedures/tools would be necessary to prep this fossil to reveal more skull?

Out hunting on the Ram, came across this odd piece, my mind immediately jumped to a bone fragment of a large aquatic reptile, the holes in it are like nothing I've ever seen, and it feels lighter than a rock of similar size. So, I'm hopeful, any ideas or help would be awesome! Thanks guys!
