Hello. I found this piece during my first visit to Mazon last year and just got around to asking about it. I believe it may be tracks of some sort, as they look vaguely like other arthropod ichnofossils. I was wondering if anyone may be able to confirm my suspicions and possibly ID what kind of animal it could be. I understand this second part is difficult without anything else to go off of, and I apologize for lower camera quality than the other images I’ve seen here. Thank you!

Hi group! What is your opinion? I bring you this rarity, which seems to be divided into segments, something I had never seen around here until now in my Carboniferous area. It reminds me slightly of an arthropod, maybe it could even resemble an arachnid. Or maybe they are just plant remains! Note that there are some sort of indentations in some of the fossil segments and there is an area (vaguely reminiscent of an abdomen) that is oval. It comes from the Upper Carboniferous Estephanian B (Saberien) of León, Spain. Alethopteris zeilleri megafloral zone. Thanks you!!!

Found this maybe ostrocod and this maybe placoderm “tooth” plate in the Waukesha formation - Devonian. Acid prepping it atm. What is it?

I found this insect on a slab of rock from the Late Triassic, Blackstone Fm of Qld, Australia. If anybody can help identify it’s clade of hopefully even it’s genus and species I’d be highly appreciative. Thanks!

Hi - I was working on a project to teach artificial intelligence to manage terrain in remote regions when I stumbled upon this. In the upper right corner is a fossil of an arthropod molting its exoskeleton. I am a former pre-press graphic designer with over 20 years experience that is proficient in Adobe products such as Photoshop and illustrator. I am not tricked by artifacts or pixelation and can easily manipulate photoshop to extract out features. Please let me know if you can see the arthropod-like creature too please! This middle Pennsylvanian concretion from Mazon Creek (Francis Creek Shale), was discovered in the fall of 2014 in the Mazon Creek Heritage Site. I could use some help identifying. The preservation is not the best. I see no indication of the existence of wings but I sense there were some.
