I found these 2 rocks in a bed of river rocks at an apartment complex in Denver Co. I found the biggest piece 1st and continued looking for more interesting rocks when I found the small piece. I was surprised that they fit together. The big piece weighs approximately 2 lbs and the small piece approximately 1/2 lb. If it's not a fossil then I need to know how it formed.

Hi, I found this fossil in a field in Essex. The surface has a grain and if you look at the ends you can see tiny pore holes going through it like you get in bone. I’m wondering if this could be a piece of mammoth bone?

Hello, I found this possible fossilized bone in the creek on my friends 26 acre Farm in poweshiek County, Iowa. The farm is located on Glacier land. The farm has very sandy soil and large Hills that slope down to the creek. I have found many easily identifiable fossilized bones such as jaw, femur, pelvic and teeth but this one looks very odd but seems to have the correct pores and texture. Any help will be appreciated thank you.

Found this piece washed up on the shore of Lake Erie in Ohio, USA. It's smoothed over from the environment. Any thoughts as to whether this is actually a bone fragment. If so, how would I properly identify it? I'm taking a stab in the dark to say it looks somewhat similar to an ulna/forearm bone.

This is a piece of fossilized bone I bought over the summer. It was sold as being from a centrosaurus. I understand that a perfect ID is impossible, but I was wondering if any one had an idea of what type of dinosaur it could be from, if it even is dinosaur. I was also hoping to find out what type of bone it is. It had an interesting shape to it so I was hoping if nothing else, where in the skeleton it could have been from. It says it’s from the Judith River formation, and the only locality given is eastern Montana. Again I don’t think it’s possible to tell exactly what it’s from, I was just hoping for some general description.

A day trip to North Sulphur River in north Texas, didn't found much. However, this big chunk of bone was stare right at me. It's not a shape I recognize, so I didn't realize it was a fossil until I picked it up. Whatever this creature used to be, look like it got chewed up pretty good. Anyone have ideas what this might be? Help is much appreciated.

Hello, I am am interested in your opinions on whether this is a bone or a rock. The center appears to once had a porous center and the rounded shape on one end, led me to become curious. This was found near a riverbed in the desert of central Utah.
