The two larger teeth were assumed to be megs when I found them Saturday in a housing development outside of Bradenton, Florida. When I arrived back home and looked closer, I began questioning if they could be Great White. The third tooth confuses me. I have not seen this thin enamel in the shark teeth I find. Is it fish (Barracuda?) instead?

During my recent visit to Bradenton, Florida, I collected many dugong rib bones to put into the fossil pit for kids at our local nature park. I pulled 3 out to keep. This one was lighter in weight and color to the others. My wife accidentally dropped it on the floor, breaking it. After looking at the damaged piece, I began to wonder if this was indeed a dugong rib. Any thoughts are appreciated. Mike

Hi everyone, I moved to Clearwater a while ago but I work right between Bradenton and Sarasota. I’d like to start doing some little creek hunts or similar after work but I have been having trouble finding good locations. If you can help point me in a the right direction I would really appreciate it. Or, if you are local and would like to join me that would be great as well! Thanks in advance

Floridians, I Need Help In Finding New Places To Adventure.
LuanaRosy posted a topic in Questions & Answers
Hello! I've been looking for shark teeth and fossils for a couple months now with a couple of friends and we've been to Caspersen Beach, Manasota beach, and Peace River. My boyfriend and I were thinking about going somewhere new for a weekend but we don't know where to go. We live in Bradenton, Florida so we would like to go somewhere close by. We don't mind driving a couple hours though. Thanks!
