Found near Canelo, Arizona, on a steep hillside. There are two separate rocks in the photos. One is about 3 inches long and the other about 7 inches. The rock is hard and brittle. It's quite unlike the rest of the rock in the area. I get the feeling if I threw it at the driveway it would shatter into several pieces. The spiderweb looking features are very delicate and some will crumble with strong thumb pressure. It was just a very curious looking rock and I was wondering if it might be a fossil.

I acquired this worn metaxytherium floridanum vertabra from a trusted seller, its from the peace river formation of Polk county (Miocene) and its very quickly trying to turn itself to sand, especially in one area. How do I keep this from happening, cheaply and quickly? Here are some pictures from the seller, but I have it with me so I can take more. @Ptychodus04

Could this have been a calyx? Or just some slate shale? It pretty much crumbled when I tried to clean it. 1 inch round.

Found by a friend in the Mojave Desert. I was thinking family Ophiuridae. Any thoughts/more specific ID? Thanks, Zach
