Partial Cervus elaphus antler ( Red Deer ) found on an organised field trip this year Its Pleistocene in age and could be from the Ipswichian Stage. It has a rather gnarled appearance to it which I guess could have come from the Ice age gravels it was found in or even old rutting scars. What I have noticed is where the eyebrow branch is missing. Is it me or does the remnants of where the eyebrow branch once was looks to have been sliced off. Or does anyone think this is a natural break.
