I recently acquired this rhino jaw advertised as a woolly rhino, yet ad said it was found in southeast asia, which would be inconsistent. Seller then said it might come from the Russian-Mongolian border. Can anyone tell the difference anatomically between a woolly rhino jaw and its southeastern asian contemporaries'? Age range stated as 20,000 to 40,000 years ago.

My Woolly Rhinoceros collection. New to this forum but I think I'm making a start with my collection of Woolly Rhino bones. More items from my collections will follow, also different kind of fossils. I still working on my collection inventory to photograph and Categorize. Here are some photos of bones I own. They come from the North Sea.

Hi everyone, A brief introduction of me. I'm a fossil collector since my childhood and especially looking for fossils from the Netherlands. For example, in my collection I have: Fossil footsteps from the Triassic period found in Winterswijk. Plant Fossils from the Carboniferous period (Coal mines in Limburg). Fossils from the Cretaceous period (Limburg). And my main focus are Pleistocene bones, and especially bones of the Woolly Rhino (coelodonta antiquitatis). I go regularly to the Zandmotor near Kijkduin looking for bones. soon i will upload some photos. regards,
