Hi I’m Tiffany. I was combing the river today in eastern Oklahoma.. lower Canadian.. and found this bone. Was just curious if anyone could tell me what kind it is?

    Possible fossilized leg bone?

Hi, I found this bone while kayaking this summer on the riverbank of the Greater Miami River in Dayton, Ohio. I have no archaeological background so I hope this is a good place for help in this identification. The bone is 20 inches in length and very dense. Thanks for looking

    Bovid ID help

I was out on the Peace River, FL yesterday and found several interesting fossils. By taking advantage of many of @Harry Pristis excellent photo arrays I identified teeth found yesterday as domestic pig and a horse incisor. Unfortunately, even with Harry's example of cow vs bison and looking at several other sources I am still unable to decide if my find is bison. So I am hoping for some input from all of you to help with a definitive ID. The crown/bite surface of the tooth measures 32mm x 28mm. In the first photo I have placed yesterday's find on the left and what I believe to be a cow molar on the right. The remaining photos are of the tooth found yesterday. It is larger and much bulkier than what I believe is the cow tooth.

    Bison or Cow Molar? Fossilized?

I found this tooth in Ladonia, Texas. It was sitting almost on the surface of a river bank. I’ve researched and think it is a M1 molar but I do not know if it is cow or bison. Also, I don’t know if it is a fossil or recent. If someone could help it would be much appreciated!

    Fossil tooth - bovine, horse?

We found this today at the beach near Venice, Italy (Adriatic Coast). So far we've determined it is a tooth from either a cow or an equine species. We burned it with a lighter - it does smell burnt, so probably not fossilized. Does anybody know the species?
  7. Hello! So I found these three fossils and was curious to know about them... one i think is to be a bryozoan branch the tooth i believe to be a cow tooth not sure how old it may be and the last one is a type of small brachiopod its super tiny but again I don't know much about fossils yet but I am ready to learn more ! So if any one knows anything about these fossils that'd be a great help! First 6 pictures are from the riverbed and the last two are from the beach in Lübeck,Germany Thanks!

    Cow or horse or ???

I found this 3.5 inch jaw bone with two blue teeth on the beach of New York bay. I thought cow or horse but I haven’t found a match. Bison was suggested but does seem likely from a geographic standpoint. Likely modern unfortunately. Your thoughts appreciated

    Pathological shark tooth

Hey, I purchased a large grouping of shark teeth a couple days ago, and it got here today. I was sorting them, and found a couple interesting ones, this was one of them. It’s very pathological, but I can’t ID it, I think it’s either a false tiger or cow shark, but I can’t tell. @Al Dente @digit @MarcoSr. TIA
