Dinosaur Vertebrae But Lost Description So Don't Know From What Dinosaur...
Phil Hormel posted a topic in Fossil ID
Hello All, This was purchased on online auction site 20 years ago, but I lost the description and do not recall what dinosaur it is from. I am guessing maybe an achylosaur, hadrosaur, or triceratops, since I was collecting fossils from those creatures at the time. Don't know the location they were found or any other details. Your help will be appreciated! Thanks, Phil- 2 replies

Hi friends - I recently acquired a theropod caudal vertebrae from the Kem Kem over in Morocco. It’s currently ID’ed as Theropoda sp. indet. and that’s probably about as specific as we can get. But I was curious if the brain trust here had any further details I’m missing that could give away a specific species of theropod. Thanks for taking a look!

Hello, recently I have found a quite interesting dinosaur spine section. The seller claims that this is: Museum Quality Spinosaurus Dinosaur Spinal Section with Huge Vertebrae and Rare partial spines 55 Million Years Old Measures 12.5" x 10.5" inches. What do you think about the fossil? Best regards

These are a couple smaller vertebrae and a bone I found on the Judith River Formation, I was hoping to get an opinion on what dinosaur they would be from. Thanks.

Bguild posted a topic in Is It Real? How to Recognize Fossil Fabrications
Hi Everyone - I came across this Camarasaurus vertebra and was curious how much restoration has been done to it. I'm trying to train my eye for Morrison Formation material which can be a little tricky . Camarasaurus Tail Vertebrae Jurassic (145 Million – 155 Million Years Ago) Morrison Formation - Wyoming 4 1/4" long Thanks for taking a look!- 5 replies

I recently found a vertebrae that I think is a Hadrosaur. After taking a look at some others, I'm having second thoughts. It may be tail, I really do not know for sure. I was told by someone that it was a plesiosaur, but I know that the plesiosaur did not exist during the age when the woodbine of the Dallas/Ft Worth area was an active terrestrial and aquatic environment. Over the years I have found several of these and these are the last two found. I have found croc/turtle/shark/fish/and dino material in the woodbine, along with other aquatic fauna such as the ammonites. I was just curious as to whether I have these identified as tail and or vertebrae. Just let me know whatcha think, I will take any and all input seriously. Jess B.
