DD1991 posted a topic in DocumentsHi, Does anyone have a copy of the paper "Evidence for increased hominid diversity in the Early to Middle Pleistocene of Indonesia"? It caught me by surprise that Meganthropus is considered a valid genus of hominid given that most paleoanthropologists have seen Meganthropus as a synonym of Homo erectus. Also, two molars that form part of the original hypodigm of the extinct human species Homo erectus are considered non-Homo.

DD1991 posted a topic in DocumentsDoes anyone have a copy of these papers??? : Javier Párraga; Albert Prieto-Márquez (2019). Pareisactus evrostos, a new basal iguanodontian (Dinosauria: Ornithopoda) from the Upper Cretaceous of southwestern Europe. Zootaxa 4555 (2): 247–258. doi:10.11646/zootaxa.4555.2.5. PMID 30790960. Osteology and systematics of Uberabatitan ribeiroi (Dinosauria; Sauropoda): a Late Cretaceous titanosaur from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Zootaxa. 4577 (3): 401–438. doi:10.11646/zootaxa.4577.3.1. It's quite odd that despite being described as a distinct genus from Rhabdodon, Pareisactus is known only from one skeletal element. Therefore, it is highly probable that some very fragmentary rhabdodontid specimens from France and Spain assigned to Rhabdodon could be from Pareisactus (Matheronodon shows that more than one rhabdodontid lived in Europe during the late Campanian-Maastrichtian interval).
