eHi everyone, I've been going through making a database of my fossils. I came across this one that I purchased at MAPS couple years back but I am worries I've been fooled nails because of the what appears to be machine marks at the back. Any help would be appreciated and relieved.

Edit: Wrong use of photos. Will update shortly! Hello! I've been eyeing this tooth for some time now - but before buying I could need a bit of help! The price is very reasonable for a tooth at 11,3 cm and overall the condition is good - which makes me a bit suspicious The market for fossils in the country I live in is very niche, which might explain the price, but I would like to hear the opinion from folks that have more knowledge than I do. Mosasaur Skull in matrix (Real?)

Hi everybody I found a seller who is wanting to sell this Mosasaur matrix-specimen. Initial photo's look ok, but I would like to get your opinions on it. Can ask for detailed photos if needed. Is this Brittle starfish real or fake?

I am thinking of purchasing a brittle starfish fossil for my mom as a Christmas gift (she LOVES starfish), but I'm aware of how there are a lot of fossils that are fake (i.e. near perfect or "Morocco" fossils). Attaching pictures from the seller. Listing says they are classified in the Ophiuroidea Order, originating from Hakel, Lebanon. There is also an unknown heart shape formation on the slab. Is this real or fake? Should I buy it? Thanks!

Hello! I'm very new to fossils and this is my first time posting here. So if I made any mistake please forgive me. I want to buy an ammonite but I've never had one before so I know nothing about them, so it's best if I ask the experts before I reach into my pocket. These things inspire so much curiosity and wonder in me, and the fact that I can actually have a real fossil that's millions of years old amazes me! So are these real? If so, how do you know?
