Weller only gives Pecten sp as present in the unit while Whitfield doesn't recognize any Pecten. Pecten kneiskerni is present in the slightly younger Shark River Formation and I am tempted to assign that to these older specimens.

This particular specimen looks less like a typical Pecten than the others.
