Hi again. Today I would like help with these two very similar fossils I found in Lyme Regis UK many years ago. They seem to be Mudstone from what I'm learning and have many boring worm holes on the outside of the rock. The inside has triangular patterns with ripples which resemble plant forms. Any help with a name would be much appreciated, so I can properly record my collection now. Thanks, Jes.

Hi everyone, I have just received an email from a Palaeontologist from AOC in lightning ridge confirming this isn't just a piece of potch (opal) it is actually a small twig of possibly a fern or conifer tree dating back approximately 100 million years!! Even though it is only 7mm X 2mm I am over the moon excited! What a little beauty!

Hello all! Another question from a fossil and geology newbie. I found a bag of interesting rocks in my home today. It contained what looked like store bought rocks but I have literally no idea where they came from or how I got them. Included were two fern looking fossils and I'm not sure if they're real or not. This is probably an extremely stupid question, but I just want to make sure. Thank you! (also my apologies for the terrible lighting in the photo, I can attach more if needed)
