Hello, My fossil hunting started in early March. I had been collecting rocks to rebuild a waterfall and came across a rock with a small shell. I have been obsessed ever since. This led me to research my area from the beginning and to find all the transformations that took place is incredible. I have tried to look up items have found and it was more miss than hit. I stumbled on to this forum and it seems all my answers could lie here.

Hi, everyone Thanks Tim for your help earlier Im working on some shale from the Utah, Udig fossil quarry, Wheeler shale. When I opened one piece of shale, the black sqiggly lines were there and I wondered are they some type of worm trace. Images 2 is about the best I could get. Thanks
