Can anyone help? I sent the pictures off and they are pretty sure it’s a femur bone from a mosasaur. Does that look right? Found on private land along the Missouri River in South Dakota. Appreciate the help.

    Jaw?

Hi I found this in Colorado while on a hike. On the hike there was what looked like an ancient ocean or river bed and had rivets from water moving. I was just wondering if it could be a jaw with no enamel or just a cool rock.

    What type of coral fossil?

I recently acquired a large collection of fossils at an estate auction in Florida. About half were identified but the rest weren’t. Most identified fossils were labeled with a location in Florida but not all. I think this is a fossil of brain coral but the cylinder shape and knob at one end have me me perplexed. Can anyone help?

    Beach find on Lake Huron

Hello I found this fossil (I think?) on the beach of Lake Huron. It is weird they are two stripes but when I zoomed in it appears there are "fringe like" items on the edges. It's weird because the brown lines are shiny. Any help in identifying if this is a fossil and perhaps how old is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  7. Two years ago I found a field in Lithuania, where I managed to find a lot of small fossils; mostly corales and small invertebrates. But I came across one fossil, which was one of the best ones I ever found, but cannot identify what it is. I am searching fossils for fun and have no schooling or knowledge about them (so it might be a very common fossil.) I hope, someone can help!
