So I found my first tooth on the beach two days ago... I went back to the general area today after rain and tide went out and found a almost 2” Great White tooth! Thinking this was dredged sand that was pushed around with the past nor’easter! Never find teeth here! Can anyone put an age on it, found other small teeth as well...

Please help me ID these shark teeth that were found on the west coast of Florida (near Venice) over the past weekend. My belief is that the top row could be Great White and/or Megalodon (very nice serration on the largest/first one), the second row is either Bull or Dusky, and the third row is Hemipristis (Snaggletooth). As for the fourth row... the jury is still out. I am most intrigued by the third/tiny one (from left to right). It looks different from anything else I have ever found. Very compact, lots of detail, and oddly shaped. Any ideas???

Fellow fossil hunters! I live in Jacksonville Beach, FL and have been collecting sharks teeth and shells on our local beaches for a decade. I have found some great teeth on the beach (mostly in the winter when the tourists have gone ) but have yet to find a megalodon tooth or even a fragment of one! My father had some beautiful meg teeth in his collection from when they would dredge for beach renourishment, St. Johns River projects, ect. So I know they are out there to find but I've never been lucky enough to come across one. Has anyone had any luck finding meg teeth in Jacksonville? If so, any tips on where to look would be GREATLY appreciated! I'm attaching a picture with a handful of my favorite finds over the years here in Jax Beach, enjoy! -Nikki

I repaired these great white and mako teeth. They started out as teeth with relatively complete blades, but with very little to no root remaining. I reconstructed the roots, and then painted the roots the color of teeth in my collection with the same color of blades.

Is this a Mako tooth? It was found in the Peace River (Florida) in the same spot as some megalodon teeth, but this one looks different. Thanks!

Can anyone say whether this is a Megalodon or Great white fossil tooth? Found in green mill run creek which flows into the Tar River in the city of Greenville state of North Carolina USA. Part of the Upper Yorktown Formation thought to be Pliocene and some Miocene Epochs
