I have tried to research what this is and cannot come up with anything. There are shiney black lines throughout it which to me it looks like coal but I know nothing about it. Can someone please give me an opinion or at least lead me in the right direction of somehow identifying this?

Found in New Jersey on the beach. It is hard and about 9-10 cm long. I thought it looked like fossilized coral but I'm not sure.

Ive had this what looks to be a fossilized clam in my yard 30+years , my grandfather brought it home one day, he said he found it while they were dredging in some part of Tampa bay, it's really hard my wet saw cut through granite like butter but this not so much, basically I was wondering if anyone knew what it was and if it might have turned into something cool because I want to cut it in half and put of display, I'd appreciate any shared knowledge thanks.

I've looked at a lot of sediment now and I just found this. It is a perfect sphere and semi-clear. Hard but perfectly round. Don't think it's a microfossil, but anyone have a guess as to what it is? It was inside a 3 x 6" piece of the formation. Image about 4-500X. Object cannot be seen with naked eye. -
Series of tubes... maybe an insect colony?? A family member, who studied geology, left me their collection and I am trying to identify some of the fossils & minerals! Thank you!
