These two items were found sifting for shark teeth on a beach near Venice Florida. Ruler is in inches, sorry. The larger I believe is a tooth from a herbivore. I'm new and not sure how to differentiate, or if it may be from something else. The smaller one looked like a piece of crab pincher to me, but has a row of round hollows that correspond to the thickness of the piece as it tapers. (Tooth sockets?) The break at the larger end appears to be hollow/filled with sediment.? The tip appears broken off and hollow as well. There are ridges along the length, and it is slightly curved.(I tried to get it all in the pics) Is this likely a fish or small reptile? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Hi! This is my first time here so may i most embarrassingly start by asking if this is even a tooth? Found along Red Deer River in Alberta a few km south of Tolman Bridge (in Horseshoe Canyon formation). I found it washed up in an erosion channel. Thank you, Danno/
